Christmas in July

It’s the GLOCAL summer edition! This Christmas in July we are focusing on Christ’s Hope International, a non-profit organization empowering orphaned and vulnerable children to break the cycles of extreme poverty, AIDS, and spiritual brokenness through family-based care and discipleship in Jesus Christ.
Today, alongside the global Body of Christ, Christ’s Hope cares for over 1,800 orphaned and vulnerable children in Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo by supporting their education, nurturing their physical and emotional well-being, keeping them in the care of their families and communities, and, most importantly, sharing the Gospel with them.
Pastor Gabe and his wife, Melissa, had the opportunity to travel to Africa in February 2024 and experience the work of Christ’s Hope International firsthand. On Sunday, July 21, Pastor Gabe will be sharing more about their transformational work.
We invite the ULC family to join us in specific monetary ways to support Christ’s Hope International. Our goal was to raise $2,880 by July 31 to cover the holistic care for five children for a year. Ready, set, Christmas in July!
