After he rose from the dead on Easter morning, Jesus didn’t just appear once, but over the course of 40 days more than 500 people encountered the resurrected Jesus. In these encounters people were comforted, challenged, and commissioned. In the same way, people all over the world and in our own backyard continue to encounter the resurrected Jesus today. As we examine Jesus’ resurrection appearances this Easter season, may we encounter Him and be comforted, challenged, and commissioned to follow after him.
